Job summary

As our Price Comparison Website (PCW) Channel Lead you will own the strategy and commercial success of our PCW sales channels (also known as Aggregator channels) as well as the relationships with these key partners for our business.  As part of our multi-function Commercial team, you will support the growth and development of our Pet insurance books, helping to drive sales and maximise opportunities.

Bought By Many already sells effectively through PCWs, but this has not been a significant focus to date. Your role is to lead the development of this sales channel - optimising our current multi-product strategy and working on our next stages of growth.

You will be working closely with the Pricing, Insurance Product, Marketing and Growth Product Teams maximise growth and create new opportunities. You’ll also be closely aligned with Data Science and wider Product teams in our rapidly evolving business. 

Your key responsibilities

  • Strategy for PCW Sales for Bought By Many UK products with the goal to maximise commercial position across all PCW channels.
  • Negotiating terms and contracts with the aim of achieving and continuously improving on budgeted costs, volumes and ROI targets.
  • Maintaining strong relationships ensuring opportunities are identified and actioned.
  • Communicate and manage external-driven changes within the business.
  • Assessing our Aggregator performance: track, analyse and report on the aggregator channels to key internal stakeholders.
  • Providing aggregator insight to the wider business to support sales through all channels and being the go-to expert for all things PCW.
  • Partnering closely with:
    o Product and customer teams to maximise Product fit for different aggregator profiles.
    o    Pricing team to achieve optimal pricing.
    o    Marketing to ensure optimal volumes and sales.
    o    Growth Product Team and UX/UI to ensure the best conversion through the funnel.

·         Confident when communicating ideas to an audience and can effectively influence decisions.

·         Self-starter and team player who enjoys both informing and making recommendations.

·         Strong sense of responsibility - takes pride in achieving results and going beyond expectations.

·         Enjoys building good relationships inside and outside the business.

What you bring

Knowledge

  • A solid commercial grounding of working in and/or directly with Price Comparison websites.
  • Experience of how sales channels operate and interact - and how to optimise commercial positioning.
  • Detailed knowledge of B2C Financial Services sales.
  • Strong B2C insurance experience - Pet insurance experience would be an advantage
