About this group
The long list of small (and adorable) dogs includes Yorkshire Terrier, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chihuahua, Shih Tzu, Papillon, Pug, Toy Poodle and several others. They are often referred to as toy dogs or teacup dogs.
These are all spirited, lovely dogs, who are great for apartment living, as well as more spacious accommodation. Unfortunately though, being small does not spare them from the possibility of accidents and mishaps (it could, potentially, make this danger worse!). Additionally, as these are all pedigree breeds, they can be prone to a variety of hereditary conditions, including breathing problems, eye issues, luxating patellas and back problems.
As some of the breeds defined as toy dogs can be quite financially valuable as well, they are often targeted by thieves.
We believe that these issues should not mean unaffordable premiums, which is why we started this group. By using the collective buying power you share with other owners of toy dogs, you can get a great deal on insurance for your precious little companion.

I need insurance for my 3 minature pinchsers, 1,male 3yrs, 2 girls 8yrs & 5yrs, plus a 10yr yorkie cross. how much do you think it would be or if they would do it?
Hi Jude, thank you for getting in touch. Because Pet Insurance costs can vary on a case by case basis, it is difficult for me to hazard a guess at how much it would cost. I would suggest getting a quote through the group above, select 'join the group' then 'get a quote' we do offer a Multi Pet discount, so this might help with the cost. Unfortunately the site only allows you to input the details for 3 dogs at a time. So you will need to do the quotes for 2 dogs at a time to get the multi dog discount! I hope that helps. Kind regards, Heidi
