About this group

Jack Russell Terriers might be small, but they are thought of as ‘a big dog in a small dog’s body’. Fearless and extremely energetic, they were originally bred as hunting dogs and appear entirely unaware of their slight stature.

Owning a Jack Russell is not for the faint hearted, as they require a large amount of exercise and attention. They are thought to be a healthy breed with few genetic health issues (though they can be prone to hip and joint problems common in small dogs and eye disorders), and it is not unheard of for a Jack Russell Terrier to live for as long as 20 years.

That said, because of their high-strung nature, insuring your Jack Russell is still important. They can become possessive of their environment and are feisty and willful, which can cause them to harm themselves or others.

By joining this group you use the buying power you share with other Jack Russell owners to get a better deal on insurance for your little power house pooch. We've negotiated an exclusive offer with Lifetime Pet Cover, so please join the group to find out more.

Current Offer

Get 10% Pet Insurance discount with Lifetime Pet Cover, exclusively for group members

Great news: 10% discount on Lifetime Pet Cover insurance for Jack Russells.

There were three key reasons why we chose to work with Lifetime Pet Cover for your Jack Russell:

  • Lifetime Pet Cover gives you the flexibility to choose between five levels of lifetime cover, with up to £10,000 veterinary fees per year.
  • Claims are paid directly to your vet so you never have to worry about the bill.
  • Cover includes dental treatment following illness or accident and complimentary treatment up to £1,000 if recommended by your vet.

If your pet is aged 7 years or older at the time of the claim, you will be required to contribute towards the costs of the veterinary fees. This amount will be 20% of the claims settlement for dogs aged 7 to 12 and 25% for dogs aged over 12, after the excess.

To get a quote and apply online, just click the “Get a Quote” button. Please note - the quotes you see at Lifetime Pet Cover’s website will already have the discount included.
