About this group
What’s this group for?
Whether you're a Lycra-clad commuter or using a Boris bike, having insurance means you're covered for accidents even if they're not your fault.
Many cycling insurance companies are set up for enthusiasts with expensive bikes but we've found a firm that offers cycling cover for the rider first and bike second. That means you're covered for personal accidents, physio and dental costs to help you back on your feet and any damage to people or property you might be blamed for.
It also gives you the option to cover your bike, whether it's a second-hand workhorse, a hire bike or a quality racer.
We believe cyclists deserve a better deal when getting insurance so we used our members' combined buying power to negotiate a 10% discount on PedalSure policies.
What’s the benefit?
We like that PedalSure allows you to insure yourself, your bike or both together. Many new cyclists or commuters aren't using bikes that are worth thousands of pounds so the thing they need cover for most is themselves.
PedalSure's personal cover acts as a kind of affordable health insurance if you have an accident while cycling. Its cheapest policy starts at less than £5 a month (if you use our discount) and includes:
- £35,000 of personal accident cover
- £1m for personal liability
- £500 for physio after a crash
- 7 days of world wide cover
Public liability will pay your costs if you're involved in accident and injure someone or damage their property
Bike cover includes new for old replacement in the event of theft or accidental damage and all PedalSure policies cover you for amateur races and events
How do I take advantage of this offer?
