Bronze

It also features £500 for complementary treatment; £1,000 for cruciate ligament; £1,500 for dental treatment as the result of an accident; £500 for CT/MRI scan and associated costs; £100 for prescription diet; up to £350 cover for death from accident or illness; £1m for Third party liability (dogs only); up to £350 for loss from theft or straying; up to £350 for holiday cancellation; £150 for emergency expenses abroad and up to £300 for advertising and reward if your pet is stolen or goes missing.
Essential

Accident only
This policy only covers your pet for injuries (not illness) and includes £1,000 for vet fees per 12 months; £500 for complementary treatment for cats and £750 for dogs; £500 for cruciate ligament; £500 for dental treatment as the result of an accident; £500 for CT/MRI scan and associated costs; £300 for death as a result of an accident only and £1 million for Third party liability (dogs only).
The cover levels of Surewise's Gold and Silver policies compare well with other pet insurers and it does cover claims relating to cruciate ligaments, which some companies exclude.
However, it's important to note that Surewise's policies are per condition or time-limited, rather than lifetime. For per condition, that means if you reach the limit for a condition you will have to pay for any subsequent treatment relating to it.
For more information about what per-condition and time-limited policies are, check out our Pet Insurance FAQs.
The Gold, Silver and Bronze policies all include overseas travel cover up to 1 month and £250 for loss of PETS passport.
An excess fee of £85 per claim (£250 for third party liability) applies to all policies, and they all have an exclusion period of 24 hours for accidents and 10 days for illness.
Surewise does not cover dogs younger than 8 weeks and older than 10 years, and cats younger than 8 weeks and older than 8 years.
