Overview of the cover provided by Octagon Insurance

Octagon Insurance offers two types of car insurance cover: third party, fire and theft, and comprehensive car insurance.

Third party, fire and theft covers you for damage you may cause to other people, their vehicles or their property in case of an accident (but does not cover the damage to your own car). You are also covered in case your car is stolen or damaged by fire.

Octagon's Standard comprehensive car insurance cover includes cover for your car in case of an accident, third party cover, damage through fire, cover if your car is stolen, a free courtesy car if yours is damaged in an accident, windscreen protection, cover for your personal belongings and cover for medical expenses.

You can upgrade your cover to Octagon Extra, which includes all of the benefits of Standard, plus legal expenses cover, vehicle rescue cover and lost keys protection.

Another upgrade option is Octagon Classic – Octagon Insurance’s most popular cover. It includes all of the aforementioned cover, along with a guaranteed replacement vehicle for up to 30 days. This policy does not include breakdown cover.

Optional extras, such as extended personal accident cover and a replacement vehicle for up to 21 days can be added to any of the policies for an additional premium.

Octagon van insurance offers similar cover options to their car insurance policies, plus you can add tools in transit cover for £500, £1,000 or £2,500. Cover is available to drivers aged 21 and over.

All policy holders have access to a 24/7 UK-based claims helpline and up to 90 days of cover for driving within the EU.
