We were hoping to see many of you at the beautiful locations chosen for the Big Dog Walk events. We hope you can take part in those walks next year but there is still a dog walk you can get involved in this September.
The World Big Dog Walk Challenge encourages dog owners across the country to use the power of a good dog walk to get outside and raise money for charity.
As we emerge from lockdown it’s easier to get out into nature or just your local park with your dog. So the World Big Dog Walk Challenge is asking owners to pledge a number of miles they’ll walk with their dog in September and they can also donate to an animal charity if they’d like.
The World Big Dog Walk Challenge will keep track of how many miles everyone pledges and expects the total distance to loop the world at least once.
You can sign up to get information about taking part here and the links to donate to its charity partners (at the moment its supporting Streetvet and Mayhew) will be live in September.
If you can, sign up to join thousands of other owners getting out and about with their dog while supporting charities.
