Overview of cover provided by Coverforyou travel insurance

Coverforyou travel insurance provides a variety of products, including single trip, annual cover, winter sports and specialist medical travel insurance.

Single trip and annual cover is available in three tiers: silver, gold and platinum.

Silver cover offers £1,000 in cancellation, £10m in medical expenses, £1,000 for cutting your trip short, £1,000 for personal baggage, £200 for personal money, £2m for personal liability, £5,000 for legal expenses and £1,500 for scheduled airline failure, with a £100 excess payable in some instances.

Gold cover offers increased sums for all of these claims, plus hospital benefit, £250 for missed departure, £250 for missed connection, and £10,000 for personal accident. An excess of up to £75 applies in some instances.

Platinum cover offers the widest range of benefits, covering all of the above for the highest sums, such as £5,000 for cancellation, £5,000 for cutting your trip short and £2,000 for baggage, plus the added benefit of end supplier failure cover for up to £1,500. When excess is applicable, it is just £50.

Winter sports and golf cover is also available at these three levels as an upgrade, as is gadget cover, natural catastrophe cover, and cruise cover, with the amount payable per claim and the amount of excess payable in line with the level of cover.

Hundreds of sports and activities are covered in all policies as standard, and children are insured for free.
