Cheap pet insurance comparison and what to watch out for?
Two of the top five cheapest policies - from Animal Friends and More Than are all 'accident only' pet insurance policies. That means they only pay out for vet bills if your dog suffers an accident - and not if they pick up an illness that requires treatment.
We've included a policy that will cover illness but is 'time-limited cover'. This means it will only payout for the first 12 months of any illness or medical condition affecting a dog. After that the condition will be excluded from cover and you'll have to pay for any treatment relating to it yourself.
If you're not sure these are compromises you would want to make when buying pet insurance for your dog, why not read our article on the Best Dog Insurance available? It explores the reasons why cheapest isn't always best when it comes to dog insurance.
