How much does cover from Cheaper Travel Insurance cost?
The cost of travel insurance varies widely depending on the personal details of the person travelling, the duration of the trip and the destination.
As its name suggests it does seem to offer lower prices for many of the trips we looked at. It's possible to get cover for a week in Europe for under £6 and annual worldwide cover for under £20.
However, it may be cheaper than other companies because some of its limits are lower. For example, its most comprehensive policy offers £1,000 for baggage cover and £1,000 for cancellation, which are lower limits than many rivals' gold policies.
And Cheaper Travel Insurance's gold policy comes with a £100 excess whereas other companies offer a £0 excess on their most comprehensive policies.
