What pet insurance does 4Paws offer?
4Paws has pet insurance policies for cats, dogs and rabbits. It can cover any of these pets from 6 weeks old.
All of its policies can be paid monthly with 0% APR and if you make a claim for accident or illness 4Paws can pay your vet directly.
It has three policy types for cats and dogs: Standard, Maximum Benefit and Lifetime.
Standard is a time-limited policy that can cover accidents and illness up to 12 months or £3,000, whichever is reached first. It comes with £1m third party liability cover for dog owners.
You can choose your per condition limit for the Maximum Benefit policy - £2,000, £4,000 or £7,000. Once you reach that limit for an accident or illness you won't be able to claim for it again.
Maximum Benefit also comes with £1m liability cover and £1,500 if your cat or dog is lost, stolen or dies. There is a separate £1,500 limit for advertising and a reward to find a missing pet. It also includes cover for holiday cancellation and boarding fees.
Lifetime cover has a choice of £4,000, £7,000 or £12,000 of vet fee cover. This limit covers accidents and illness and resets each year you renew so it can cover an ongoing condition a pet develops while it has cover.
Lifetime offers £2,000 for loss, theft and death, and has the same limit for advertising and reward.
It has a £3,000 holiday cancellation limit and £3m for third party liability.
