As our new Product Manager, you'll be collaborating across our global teams and making a big impact from the get-go.  We're hoping to find someone who has a truly customer-centric vision and who wants to turn business goals into reality via bleeding edge products and solutions.  We're a fast-paced organisation and when you join us, we guarantee that you'll achieve a lot and grow both professionally and personally in the time you spend with us.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develops a deep understanding of your product area, making and communicating effective trade-offs between customer, business and technology concerns.
  • Creates requirements, determine the design work, write and prioritise user-stories, and manage your team as a start-up within a start-up. Ensure viable and visible delivery while providing the best experience for our customers.
  • Empowers a cross-functional Product squad in both product discovery and delivery.
  • Researches and validates assumptions (with customers in mind) running experiments and analysing results.

  • Builds excellent working relationships with all parts of the business and most specifically with the key stakeholders of your product area.

  • Timely delivery of agreed Objectives and Key Results.

Skills and personal attributes

Here are a few of the skills we are looking for in this position. Don’t worry if you don’t tick every box as it’s important for us to support you in your role and help you to develop along the way.

  • You’ll be a proactive, persuasive leader - who can successfully communicate objectives and manage expectations.  You’ll leverage your coaching leadership style and inspire exceptional impact via engagement empowerment to achieve results.
  • Confident and accountable: you’ll be able to take heat and/or push back on expectations when appropriate.  You earn the respect of peers, staff and clients by having integrity.
  • You can effectively engage with a wide range of audiences (from colleagues, board members, investors and external audiences) and bring with you enviable written, verbal, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially astute and can recognise the meaning of “value” to our customers.
  • You’ll enjoy the scale-up environment where a pragmatic, and sometimes ‘scrappy’, approach is required, rather than a perfectionist approach. Your ideal is working in a fast-paced, fluid environment and juggling multiple pieces of work simultaneously.
