Job summary

Reporting to the senior partnerships manager, you will help manage a pipeline of new partnership opportunities and manage existing ones. From partnering with fintech businesses to sourcing unique partnerships that can bring added value to our customers – no day will be the same and there is plenty of opportunity to make an impact.

This role will suit a deal-closer who is used to working in an entrepreneurial (and at times ambiguous) environment where change is constant, and flexibility is vital. We are a regulated business so you will need to be comfortable switching between ensuring a compliant environment, while moving at speed in partnership with the business.

Your key responsibilities

  • Researching and identifying target sectors and partners.
  • Business development including outbound prospecting and qualification of inbound enquires.
  • Commercial contract negotiation and administration.
  • Working with the senior partnership manager to progress opportunities through to activation and launch.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with internal teams including Marketing, Product, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Joint business planning and account management of partnerships.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the partnerships CRM and Pipeline tool.

  • Commercially creative and willing to suggest and build new type of commercial relationships.
  • You take responsibility and can drive results independently and as part of a collaborative cross functional team.
  • You enjoy ambiguity and are comfortable using data to paint a path forward.
  • You are a team player and willing to flex based on the greater good of the team and broader business.

Experience and qualifications

  • You'll have previous commercial experience in a start-up or scale-up environment and will be able to give us examples of your experience in building commercial partnerships.
  • Experience with partnership development and account management and a proven track record of managing and implementing complex projects.
  • You are comfortable building pitches and presenting to a senior audience.
  • Strong stakeholder management ability and skilled at building strong relationships.
  • You'll have negotiated contracts and partnership deals with a range of partner organisations. 
  • Ongoing management and extension of partner relationships to drive higher performance and financial benefit.
  • Experience in insurance, insurtech, or the pet sector is preferred but not essential.

Salary

£45,000 to £50,000 plus benefits (+ options available, for permanent candidates)
