Job summary

ManyPets is looking for a highly imaginative, proactive, and detail-obsessed Design Lead to join the US Marketing team. Reporting to the US Director of Growth & Partnerships, this role will lead the development of provocative, impactful ad, print, social and email campaigns and foster them from concept through execution. You will help conceptualize and design holistic brand experiences from the ground up and create an experience, tone, and brand that will radically shift pet owner’s perceptions about insurance.

ManyPets is a new fintech company shaking up the $75B pet industry by bringing empathy, love, and modernity to a long-overlooked and underserved category: pet health insurance. Launched in March 2021 and born out of Bought By Many, the UK’s fastest-growing pet insurance company, ManyPets offers a line of insurance products and pet health solutions to help pet parents better care for their pets. A design-focused brand, we consider both the pet and the pet parent’s needs in everything we do. It's all part of our mission: to ensure the health and happiness of the world’s many pets – and their people.

At ManyPets, you'll meet people who think differently, aim for impact, and love to try new things. Our company and work culture is energetic, fast-paced, respectful, fun-loving, and most importantly, passionate about pets and their well-being.  If you want to stretch the boundaries of your capacity, get in touch and join us on our journey.

Your key responsibilities

  • Create and lead the creation of brand, social, email, print, and ad campaigns – from ideation through production.
  • Develop and oversee the art direction and design language for everything from campaign identity to video, photography, social assets, email, UI/UX, and physical collateral.
  • Craft art direction for photo and video shoots, with an eye towards compelling, conceptually driven visuals rooted in brand thinking.
  • Act as lead on multiple projects, adapting visual style and tone based on audience, and channel.
  • Build relationships with our growth and content marketing teams, understanding their vision and needs – and communicating creative ideas to answer them.
  • Mentor and oversee more junior creative team members and manage outside agencies and art directors.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Creative Team, and with the group’s Senior Creative lead to align creative approaches, brand standards and to deliver group-wide projects.
