What sort of opportunities are there for me?

We have a wide range of opportunities across Data Science, Back-End Development, Front-End Development, Product Design, Product Management, Site Reliability, Systems Admin, and Quality Assurance. 

We operate with a squad system and Agile ways of working within quarterly terms, and we really enjoy working collaboratively. We hold regular ‘Hack Weeks’ to look at products and address problems relating to the business, and we get the chance to highlight and work on things we’re interested in and feel passionately about. 


What about your offices and approach to remote working?

Our permanent UK opportunities are typically based in Birmingham, London and Haywards Heath and more recently, Stockholm.  Since the pandemic we have been working 100% remote and as the future of work evolves; so will we. We expect to have a blend of working from your designated office for a couple of days a month, with the rest of time working from home.  The time we spend together will be meaningful and worthwhile, plus (we hope!) a lot of fun.


What's the tech stack?

Our teams help build and maintain the platforms that allow us to innovate our products and improve our customer experience. We primarily work in Python and Python web frameworks and we have an emphasis on modern software development practices: Agile, CI/CD, TDD, Mob and Pair based programming. We take a Product-led approach to all core software development and we use best-in-breed tech for in Front-End too: Storybook, Vue.JS, LESS/SAAS, Prismic, hosted and static deployed site. Our data analytics and modelling infrastructure is in GCP and when it comes to databases, Mongo DB is our weapon of choice to enable us to evolve swiftly and scale elegantly.

We have a strong commitment to serverless architectures (AWS Lambdas and Netlify), secure coding (Auth0 and JWT) bleeding-edge reliability and performance (Instana, PagerDuty and Cloud Front) in addition to Infrastructure Automation (CDK and Terraform.)
